Dr. T Das is a consultant ophthalmologist at Mansarovar Eye Hospital. He specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology with an expertise in oculoplasty, cornea, and glaucoma. He is involved in providing treatment for cataract as well. He also manages strabismus and medical retina.
Dr Das is known for treating ocular surface diseases with the innovative use of stem cells, with procedures such SLET and the use of amniotic membrane grafts.
Dr Das has done his MBBS from NRS Medical College, Kolkata. He did DO & MS Ophthalmology, both from RIO, Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata. He also passed the Basic and Advanced Examinations of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO). He then did his Fellowship in Comprehensive Ophthalmology, with Retina specialization, at the LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad and then was a consultant for 2 years with them at Vijayawada.
Dr Das’ interests outside his clinic include reading books.
